A collection of hero design concepts for the MOBA genre.

MAGE - Heroes with this icon have a lot of spells to cast in their kits, they also most often deal magic damage.

TANK - This icon represents heroes with high defensive stats or abilities. Having this as a secondary trait usually means survivability is reliant on damage output.

ASSASSIN - Heroes with this icon excel at dealing most of their damage in bursts, specialize in stealth tactics, or are above average at roaming the map looking for solo kills.

CARRY - These heroes are regarded as the most vulnerable members of a team, but with the highest capacity for sustained damage and late game scaling. Having this as a primary trait generally means they deal ranged physical damage on basic attacks.

[DE]BUFFER - A supportive trait, these heroes focus on utility through crowd controlling the enemy team or through healing/shielding allies. As a secondary trait, it symbolizes a hero who is likely a strategic choice as a flex pick in multiple lanes.
